In future posts I’ll be writing about everything - party entertainers, birthday cakes, party themes, party decorations,venue hire, party games, party etiquette, party dresses and general rants and random praise! But what do I know? Well.....I have two children and am working my way steadily through their parties. I’ve done them at home, I’ve hired venues, I’ve spent a lot and I’ve spent a little, so there’s that experience. Because both children went to nursery (and now school) I have been to a lot of parties too and seen what worked, as well as what didn’t at other people’s expense. Also, I have in the past been paid to run children’s birthday parties by some perfectly lovely strangers who were all happy with the outcome, and in a land before children I had a perfectly respectable grown up job organising (non kid) parties.
